Local Connection

Where Connection Becomes Physical

* * * COMING SOON * * *

The Local Connection is the physical expression of Serenity Co-Op—a place where people, businesses, organizations, resources, activities, and opportunities come together.

The Local Connection serves several purposes at once.

It creates a physical environment where natural connections can happen.

It provides space for community events, gatherings, organizations, and experiences.

And it creates an economic engine that helps sustain the infrastructure itself while redirecting value back into the surrounding community.

The result is more than a place to go. It is a place where connections can actually happen.

People don't always walk into a community space because they need help.

Sometimes they come because they want to laugh.

Sometimes they come to play.

Sometimes they come to hear music, meet friends, celebrate something, learn something new, or simply get out of the house.

That's intentional.

The entertainment is the attraction.

The connection is the purpose.

People already spend money on dining, entertainment, celebrations, gatherings, activities, and social experiences.

The Local Connection is designed to redirect a portion of that existing economic activity into infrastructure that strengthens the community itself.

Revenue can come from food and beverage, private gatherings, venue rentals, events, partnerships, sponsorships, merchandise, and other activities that naturally occur within the space.

The goal isn't simply to generate revenue for Serenity Co-Op.

The goal is to create an economic engine capable of sustaining the environment that makes connection possible.

Root Ball

One of the best kept secrets in social entertainment!

Root Ball puts a

modern day twist

on horseshoes,

adding new challenges, scoring methods

and strategy!

In honor of the Root Bar in Swannanoa, NC!

The birthplace of Root Ball suffered a devastating total loss during Hurricane Helene.

If there were ever a comeback story to support, this is one to be rooting for!

The Local Connection isn't limited to scheduled entertainment.

The space can become a gathering point for:

* Community events

* Fundraisers and benefits

* Support groups

* Nonprofit activities

* Educational opportunities

* Business gatherings

*Networking

* Private celebrations

* Family gatherings

* Partnerships and

collaborative events

A person might walk through the door for a game and leave having discovered an organization they didn't know existed.

Someone might attend an event and meet someone who changes the direction of their life.

A nonprofit might gain exposure to people it otherwise would never reach.

A business might find a new community partner.

That's the ecosystem.

The Local Connection doesn't operate by itself.

It is one part of Serenity Co-Op's three-part connection model:

Local Connection

creates physical proximity.

Virtual Connection

creates access to information, education, and support.

Visual Connection — The Green Ribbon Movement

makes connection visible throughout the community.

Someone can discover Serenity Co-Op in one place and naturally move into another.

There isn't a single door.

There are multiple ways in.

And once you're inside, the connections lead to one another.
